CNC Machinist
Full- Time

Must be able to, with limited supervision, set-up and concurrently operate multi-axis machines.
-
Highly proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments including but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators and scales.
-
Working knowledge of tooling, tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines.
-
Operate and maintain multiple machines in the manner that ensures their longevity while adhering to guidelines that promote personal safety and safety of others while keeping work area clean, organized and tidy.

Perform In-Process, First Piece Inspection and Level 1 Inspections of precision parts

Certified Weld Inspector

Validate Conformance of products & processes

Assist supervision with developing fitters and welders through training/coaching

Manage (develop & maintain) welders according to AWS & IMP standards

Assure shop is welding in compliance to AWS, creating WP's and standards as necessary.

CNC Programmer
Full- Time

Programming and Set-up of Haas Mills and Vertical Manual Mill
-
Create Accurate programs using Solid Works, CAD and CAMWorks. Must also be able to manually program machine without software.

Knowledge of tooling, tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines.

Responsible for supporting operators in the training of loading parts, proving programs, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.

Detect equipment malfunctions, on or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine within capabilities, controls or control media as required to ensure quality of production. Reports all machine malfunctions to Department Supervisor and Production Manager.
